Linking of Pension Records and Aadhar Number

Dear Veterans,

The Naval Pension Office (NAVPEN) is on the process of digitising the PPOs with the aim of issuing e-PPOs to all pensioners and link the PPOs to their Aadhar numbers. The target date is 30 Sep 15.  This is aimed at carrying out automatic amendments to the PPOs as and when issued in future. 

Therefore, Veterans are requested to email scanned copy of Aadhar cards of self and spouse along with the following information to Cdr PVR Krishnan on the email id navypension@gmail.com and navpen-navy@nic.in at the earliest:-

(a)  Rank, Name and Personnel Number

(b)  Type of Pension being received (Regular / Family / Disability, etc.)

(c)  PPO Number

(d)  Mobile / Landline Number

(e)  Email Id

Alternately, this information and copies of documents can be forwarded to to the following postal address by ordinary post to :-

Mankhurd

Mumbai – 400 088

Since this is related to pension disbursal in future, veterans are requested to act on this advisory on priority.

    Sir, I am Hari Krishna, EX-SCPO. P.NO. 161398-R could not my aadhar card. no. kindly intered my aadhar card No. in penssion account or any other document thanks. My adhar card. No. is 806420761972.

      Dear Veteran,
      Please email scanned copy of your Aadhar card and PPO to Naval Pension Office at navpen-navy@nic.in under intimation to DESA (desa-navy@nic.in).

    sir i have already send the letter with above information well in before just after getting this information on wall, but up to now no action taken so far .also no information to me . thanks for information .       The data is centrally collected and integrated with the pension records. The pension records are also being converted into digital data and the aadhaar data goes along with it. It will take some time before all the data is converted and e-PPOs are issued.

    I forwarded the copy of both my and spouse Aadhar card, PPo with my other particular as ordinary post in the 2nd week of Aug. I am not sure if this is received or not. Today news paper it is seen Pancard particular also required for digitalisation of jeevan praman. Is both same, if so should we require to submit all along with Pancard. Please clarify.

      Jeevan Pramaan agency stated that there is no requirement of PAN card details.

    I had sent req docs as suggested in the blog to the email mentioned in the blog on 09th Jul itself immediately on receipt of relevant mail into the mailbox, but unfortunately no acknowledgement received so far

        I also sent the required documents to NAVPEN and request them to acknowledge receipt but no reply was received. Without acknowledgement we are not sure whether the documents sent have been received and will be acted upon. This matter needs consideration please.

      We will consider this aspect. We are planning conduct of camps to do this but a permanent facility is not under consideration right now. This is because, these activities can also be undertaken at the Citizen Service Centres and Nationalised Banks. We would advice you to please visit https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in for more details.

        I am a 1976 retired officer. After clarifying with you on 8th July,15, I forwarded my particulars to Naval pension office, Mumbai for issue of corrigendum PPO under project Sangam. Now I received email from them asking me to write to PCDA(MUMBAI) for issue of corrigendum PPO. I think PCDA(Mumbai) is not the right authority for this because they do not have my records. Your guidance in the matter is sought.
