Entrepreneurship Training Through INPA

1.   Indian Naval Placement Agency (INPA) will be conducting entrepreneurship training with certification in early Nov 2016 at New Delhi under the aegis of National Institute of Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship (NIESBUD).

2. Following eligible for undertaking course:-


(a)       All serving personnel in last year of service

(b)       Retired personnel

(c)        NOK and dependents of naval personnel


3.   The broad programme for the training is as follows


(a) First day/ pre-lunch Session. Lectures on:-


  • Entrepreneurship and enterprise.
  • Traits required to become an entrepreneur
  • Success stories of entrepreneurs

(b)  First day/post lunch Session. Motivational films, brainstorming exercise and six hat thinking.



(c)  Second day.


  • Financial literacy, MUDRA, PMEGP and other government schemes for entrepreneurship


  • Preparation of business plan


  • Statutory compliances required for setting up an enterprise


  • A brief on upcoming scheme Umang which envisages the handholding and mentoring aspect of entrepreneurship


(d)     Certification. All individuals to appear for an online exam on completion of 15 days of self-learning for certification

4.    Further guidance for personnel to set up entrepreneurial ventures will be progressed after the two day programme.


5.     Personnel interested to forward names by 15 Oct to IHQ MoD (N)/ DESA (desa@navy.gov.in) along with the following


(a)       Short write up on the intended sector of entrepreneurship


(b)       Cheque of Rs 1050/- drawn in favour of ‘Indian Naval Placement Agency’


6.    Seats will be allotted on first come first serve basis.
