EX-SERVICEMEN NON-PENSIONERS ASSOCIATION, WE ALL LEFT THE SERVICE IN
1979 AND BEFORE. ALMOST ABOVE 65 YEARS OLD.FOR THE LAST 12 YEARS OUR ASSOCIATION STRUGGLING FOR PENSION BUT THE PREVIOUS GOVRNMENT/PRESENT GOVERNMENT SAY BY ONE WORD REPLY 15 YEARS SERVICE REQUIRED.AFT COCHIN FAVOURED OUR CASE FOR CONSIDERATION BUT GOVERNMENT NOT TAKEN ANY INTEREST.EVEN A MINISTER’S DRIVER MAY GET PENSION WITH MINIMUM 6 MONTHS SERVICE,BUT NOT EXSERVICEMEN
WITH LESS THAN 15 YEARS SERVICE.After 1980 no any defence men without 15 years
service. Before 1979 all were signed and discharged with with initial contract.
More than 52 MPs signed and recommended our demand for pension in the year of 2010
but the previous Government granted one reply 15 years service required for pension.
We wrote to this present Government and they also say the 15 years song.
Why our Government not correcting the plicymateer to give our pension.
Before 1978 recruited Navy sailors many were signed for 10 years service and 10 years
reservist service. so, we the sailors who were signed for reservist service requested for
reservist pension but Navy not considered our demend. I heard that AIRFORCE and the
BSF considering their cases but INDIAN NAVY not agreeing. However we went to
AFT Cochin but it was not favoured but permitted to appeal to Supreme court.
The poor sailors can not approach the supreme court because of the fees for supreme court advocates..However the Chennai- AFT(Armed Forces Tribunal) sanctioned the
reservist pension for those are fied at Chennai AFT. But NAVY appealed to supreme
court against the Resevist pension order of the Chennai-AFT.
May I know what happened in this NAVY RESERVIST PENSION CASE ?
I served in NAVY 1965 to 1975 and discharged. we almost all are above 65 years old
    and no any pension.
I am the vice president of the EX-SERVICEMEN NON PENSIONERS ASSOCIATION
    THANKING YOU . T.SELVARAJ.
