    Sir,
Indian Navy fought two wars with Pak. After 1971 The Indian Navy not fired a single shot.
It is time to acknowledge the veterans of both wars (those took active part) with a war pension in line of WW II pensioners. It will be a help to those veterans like me who do not receive any pension after serving for 13 years and taking part in two wars. AFT orders to pay reservist pension to our class of sailors is challenged by MOD in S.C. This shows the attitude of MOD towards the welfare of ESM. Will VSF take the issue to the concerned ??

The current eligibility is upto 1400cc once during service and once after returement. A case has been taken up for revision of this, considering the progress achieved by the veterans and their consequent financial soundness.
