SUVIGYA – PENSION CALCULATING SOFTWARE

1. In continuation of DESA’s ongoing efforts to further the cause of retired Naval community and to enable them to know their correct entitlement, CGDA developed software called “Suvigya” has been hosted on VSF webpage. The URL of the same is appended below:-

2. This software requires minimum inputs to be provided about the pensioner (e.g. date of discharge/retirement, rank / group, qualifying service, date of birth, initial pension etc.). On the basis of this information, “Suvigya” shows the changes in pension after considering different revisions/govt orders/VI CPC and the latest pension entitlements. The software also provides for taking print-out of the result. Ex-naval pensioners desirous to know their updated pension may visit the above mentioned link.

3. Discrepancies with respect to pension, if any, may be taken up with the respective Pension Disbursing Agencies.

4. In case of any problem in finding out corrected pension or an error is shown during the process, you may try again by changing browser (for example from I.E. to Mozilla or Google Chrome). If the problem persists, you may write it to us on below mentioned e-mail id for taking up the case with CGDA.

why the govt not revising pension since 6th cpc allowances given from septembdr 2009

Thank you very much for the Information. I tried SUVIGYA, which gave me a output that should allow me to draw a higher basic pension. Accordingly, I wrote to SBI (my Pension Disbursing Agency) to have look over the issue. They do not, however, tend to agree with the CGDA findings.

Will you know any ex-defence people who may have benefited through SUViGYA? i will be grateful if you can help me on the matter.

sir, there is no provision to calculate the pension if a pensioner in IAF has two ranks. One is last rank held and another is rank pensioned from 01.01.2006. in SUVIGYA

Sir,
Suvigya software has confuse to ESM. Three software Offrs, their families & PBOR are opened whereas PBOR families, NCEs and their families are not opened. The actual position of pension is not reflected by this software. Kindly guide me.

The software will show the pension as on retirement, you will have to approve it and subsequently the software will show the pension as on date.

  Thanks for the reply sir, as a matter of fact I confirmed that the amount shown as on date of retirement is correct but the screen was blank their after. i waited for some time thinking that it might be processing but nothing happened. Kindly suggest me the way out. Thanks and Regards.

  I need to know if what this form shows is actually the basic pension amount. As per SUVIGYA my pension works out to be Rs.14464/- but what i am geting is Rs.14100/- as BP. My QS is 29 years and actual service is 20 yrs 9 months 5 days

In ‘SUVIGYA’ Software what is Qualifying Service.? Is it Atual Service or Acual Service+Weitage, please confirm. Software works with Mozilla Firefox.

SUVIGYA Software Tool is not working. After filling up all the required data a window Message from webpage appears which says ” Please enter Date of Retirement after
01.06.1953 ” where as date of retirement was entered as 31.08.1991 -EX HAVILDAR J. ANTHONYRAJ,BANGALORE.

i also agree it doesnt give any usefull info except u r waisting ur time . it is of no use cda should make it user friendly.

  this soft ware made by cgda and given to all zsbs and rsbs , for the benifit of esm. this is first ever step taken by mod/esm dept. it has to be used with mozilla fire fox only. it will not work in any other format from your pc. i see you are from army and iam sure you could educate us if army website has this soft ware online!!! as far i know desa made an attempt to host on line.!!!! finally we all must provide inputs cgda to refine it.

    I filled up the form and got the coorect amount of pension. It helped me a lot to get the arrears as I was receiving less amount.– N K Dutta 621706 T Ex- Sgt Gp I .

  suvigya is an attempt by cda to get in simple form. it is not easy, but a step in right direction. you need to work woth mozilla fire fox only in your pc.
